The daily routine
A week at Feltham College features enough structure to provide a strong learning environment, and enough flexibility to celebrate our students’ interests, creativity and socialising. We include Academic, Enrichment and Pastoral sessions within our curriculum to support well-rounded and confident young adults.
8:25am
The day starts. Pupils will register in their forms.
8:45am
The morning consists of a double period of learning – this will most likely be studying your chosen courses, but may feature a session of supervised Independent Study or a PE / enrichment option!
10:30am
A chance to take a break and reflect on what you’ve learnt, to connect with friends or take time to complete coursework.
10:50am
A second double period of lessons. Our Reach Scholar Studies sessions provide pupils with invaluable skills and techniques for successful learning.
12:40pm
The Feltham College lunch break provides time to refuel. Pupils can bring their own lunch, eat our nutritious award-winning lunches provided on site, or eat off site and take a break outside the building.
1:30pm
A final double period of structured learning, sports, or enrichment options. Occasionally, pupils can earn ‘at-home Independent Study’ sessions through exhibiting a great attitude to learning and our Reach Values.
2:30pm
On Wednesdays and Thursdays, pupils finish early, providing a little extra time for studying, catching up on work, socialising or rest! Meanwhile our dedicated team of excellent teachers focus on Professional Development and creating an effective, tailored curriculum.
3:30pm
On Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays the day finishes at 3:30pm.
